I’m excited to tell you that the Little Boogaweezin team has asked me to stay on as a Six ways contributor for the A/W14 line. This time around I will be styling this awesome Protector Lover Mother beanie.
It’s still real hot here in Los Angeles but we can’t resist the lure of Fall and pretending we have seasons. My favorite fall accessory has got to be a good beanie. Personally I especially love it paired with a dress because it adds just the right amount of sas and makes me feel the tomboy I am. It’s the perfect pairing for transitional weather between seasons – bare legs and a toasty top!
Please check out the LB brand blog and all the other mamas and their awesome 6 Ways looks to get more inspiration. Get your beanie here.
I bought this top in black at Nordstrom Rack several months ago while visiting my parents in the bay area and I find myself wearing it constantly. I recently checked my local Nordstrom Rack and I was so pumped when I found it in white! It is seriously the perfect wardrobe staple. It can easily be dressed up or down and I love the tulip hem – not to mention it super comfy! Speaking of comfy, these heels are a pair of Steve Maddens from about 5 years ago- I dont wear them nearly enough and I was delighted to be reminded how comfortable those are as well!
Although it’s not yet fall and I will soon find myself missing summer -I cant help but feel the lure of ankle booties and felt hats. I recently picked this tulip wrap dress up at Old Navy. I like that it’s a simple staple that can be mixed and matched (bonus for you breastfeeding mamas – its BF friendly!) but I wanted to bring a bit more of my own unique style to it and make it a bit funkier. So I paired it with an ankle bootie, a wool fedora style hat, denim button down and my grandmothers silver/turquoise jewelry.

Little Boogaweezin asked me to participate in their Six Ways Style Challenge. I was to choose one item from their collection and style it 6 different ways over a series of six months. This is my fourth installment and probably my absolutely favorite so far! Follow along on their blog to check out all of my looks, as well as all the other stylish Six Ways Style Challenge mamas.

UGH Obi, it’s not about you okay! Just kidding.
Can I tell you a secret? This top is maternity….and I did not buy it or wear it while pregnant! It was in the Target clearance section and I liked the simple smock shape so I tried it. It looks very much like a romper when its worn with shorts!
