This last week or so has been so super crazy. Our family just bought our very first house. And with a toddler a pregnant belly and a full time job- you can imagine it’s been busy. We are still living out of boxes but I pulled aside a few basics that I can mix and match until we get more settled. The Protector Lover Mother beanie is an easy small accessory that I can use to make an outfit feel a little more pulled together and, well, accessorized haha. Also, you can’t go wrong with all black right?! I paired it with my LB Crossover tee and a ripped black jean for an easy, edgy, put together look. Now no one has to know that almost everything I own is still in boxes.
This was the last shot we took of the day just being silly- pretty pleased to say I’ve still got jump skillz at almost 7 months pregnant! haha.

Congrats on the new house! We got ours about two years ago and I remember how exciting it was to have a place that was our own. I bet you will have the place looking super awesome in no time!
I have been combing through your blog and I love it! You have inspired me to put a little more effort into my maternity outfits. I think I was feeling a little dejected that my old cute clothes don’t fit anymore, and I didn’t want to spend a lot on maternity clothes, but I went ahead and ordered the secret weapon tank top, hopefully if I can at least wear my old (and awesome) jeans again, I will feel better. (cause god knows these maternity jeans are not doing me any favors!)
Cheers!

haha- Awesome! and thanks, Victoria! You really don’t have to spend a lot and I think getting a few pieces that make you feel cute are well worth it. You would be amazed how many things you can find that are non maternity that are still really cute and flattering. I like to mix things from places like Old Navy and Target Maternity with non maternity items from affordable stores like TjMaxx and Marshall’s, mix in a few of your old accessories and jeans and you will feel like your old self again! I will warn against wearing some of your favorite pre-pregnancy tops (unless they are empire waisted or loose) as they may stretch out and never return to their previous shape though! In my last pregnancy, I even bought regular shorts and pants at discounts stores a few sizes larger than my pre-pregnancy bottoms- they worked great when my old jeans got too tight or uncomfortable- and – bonus, they were great to have around while I was losing the baby weight, post baby! Best of luck and congrats!
