Real life #ootd : because Oliver refuses to nap for more than 20 mins at a time and he’s as pissed about it as I am, because there is “tummy time” junk on the floor, and because I don’t have someone to take a legit picture that I could blog.
Mom hair?
I’m think about choppin some hairs lately. Mom life leaves me with little time for styling which means its usually up. Lately I’m liking these shorter looks. My hairs pretty fried at the ends from years of heat styling and ombré anyhow so I could stand to lose a few inches. My hair is also naturally wavy but its currently too long & heavy creating weird unruly, unpredictable waves with limp ends. So these shorter styles seem like a good choice, not to mention they are at least a teeny tiny bit less likely to get grabbed by little hands but maybe that last part is wishful thinking. What do you guys think? Will it help me feel fresh & fabulous? Or leave me with regretful “mom hair”? To chop or not to chop?

Transitional Look I Love
It’s been super hot here in the Los Angeles area but I can’t help but start to dream of fall fashions. I thought I would share a few transitional looks I am loving – outfits that mix fall peices (like wool hats or booties) with summery items (like shorts or sandals). Perfect for those of us who are still dealing with a bit of heat while the rest of you drink your pumpkin spice lattes and talk about rain!
